Dinosaur Train is a popular kids show on PBS that features Buddy, a pre-school age T-Rex and his adopted family of Pteranodons, Shiny, Tiny and Don along with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Pteranodon. Buddy is a precocius youngster full of questions and a desire to find answers about where all of the other dinosaurs live and just what they look like.
These adventures take place when they board the Dinosaur Train and take off for the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods in search of answers to Buddy's questions. Most younger children are enthralled with the show and the combination of dinosaurs and trains is a big hit.
